About the event

Celebrating the best works from our open-call exhibition with awards for the best painting, ceramics, yarn art, photo and sculpture, judged by a panel including leading art critic Tabish Khan, award-winning figurative artist Karen Turner, event curator Agnieszka Lokaj and The Beach gallery owner Mark Vellacott. Awards for the best written work will be judged by a panel including renowned sports journalist Alison Kervin OBE, and writers Dr Anna Johnson and Millie Walton.


Tabish Khan is a prominent art critic, writer, speaker, podcaster, and curator. Covering everything from major exhibitions to London’s emerging art scene, Tabish writes regularly for Londonist and art magazine FAD, and is co-host of the podcast ‘The Good, The Bad and The Arty’. He has also written for Artsy, Elephant, Stir World and the New York Observer. Building on his passion for making art accessible to everyone, Tabish is a trustee of the prestigious City & Guilds…
